THE AIM OF BREEDING |

|
Sally vom Blauen Wunder two days old
It is very important for us to breed healthy dogs with characteristics typical of pinschers. We are highly concerned about the health of the bitches we use for breeding. In addition to the compulsory check for HD, we have them examined voluntarily for Dilute and vWD and, at regular intervals, for probably hereditary eye diseases. That means taking on a lot of responsibility , especially for me, since I am the one mainly concerned with the breeding. For me taking on responsibility also means attending conferences organised by VDH or PSK, where experts talk about the latest developments regarding breeding and the treatment of diseases. The male dogs I use for breeding are chosen with the greatest care. One of the most important factors for me is that they are not carriers of hereditary diseases. That does not mean, however, that no risks at all are involved. A lot of developments cannot be foreseen. I do not really think that the perfect dog exists. Another thing which is of great importance for me is the behaviour of the dog. I want friendly, well-socialised dogs that fit into our society without difficulties.
Hope Elisa Angel vom Sternentor, six weeks old, with her brothers and sisters
The Breeding Sally and Lisa live in our house with us. We share our sofa with them. They sleep in our bedroom where they feel safe. Sometimes they jump on the beds and slip under the blankets. We will also raise the pups in the house. During the first 10 to 15 days, they will be on the first floor where they can develop in perfect peace. After that time, they will move into our living - room, from where they will be able to reach the garden. We intend to adjust our way of life to their needs. Living with dogs is immensely enjoyable, although it does mean a lot of work. By living with us, our pups will be confronted with many different situations and will get used to all kinds of noises. We will try to give them all we can so that they find the best possible opportunities in the phase of their lives in which their character develops and in which they are socialised. We will get them used to being in a car and will teach them to accept a collar as well as walking on a leach.
H.E.A. vom Sternentor, six weeks old, with her brothers and sisters A Dog Is A Purchase For Many Years We want our pups to be owned by responsible people who are prepared to keep a pinscher throughout his or her life and in a way that is appropriate to the species. We want them to be owned by people who really love their pinscher and allow him or her to be part of the family. It is very important for us to get to know the buyer of the dog personally. If, after careful consideration, you have made up your mind that the dog you want to have in your family should be a German pinscher, just get in touch with us and have your name put down for it. Contact to the pups will only be possible after the fourth week of their lives. After the ninth week they can be given away. By that time they will have been treated for worms, vaccinated (Veterinary Surgeon's Certificate), and they will have their chip-marking. At that point they will be examined by a professional member of the PSK ( Pinscher Schnauzer Klub), will be entered into the book of the PSK-VDH and their papers will be issued. We breed our dogs according to the guidelines of the PSK.
